Sniffing Out Fraud

For some reason this last week I got another call that was fraud.

Most of the times you can sniff it out using common sense. But other times during the review process you have to dig a bit deeper. In this case, the MLS was tainted. Fraudulent information was put into the MLS and then used as a comp for a deal. Pretty sneaky. So be careful and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.
